Impressive medieval building in the centre of Cromer, which was heavily restored in the C19 after falling into disrepair. The restoration work included an impressive hammerbeam roof with carved angels. There is a memorial in the lounge under the tower to Henry Blogg, the famous Cromer lifeboatman. A side chapel provides a quiet space for private prayer; the east window in this chapel is by Sir Edward Burne-Jones. The church boasts the tallest church tower in Norfolk, which can be climbed when church is manned in the summer (see website for details).
