St Michael's Church stands alone in a remote area of the parish with lovely views over farmland, a beacon on the hill. The porch is located on the north side because the hall and lost medieval village are in this direction. Beneath the tower unusual feature of a fireplace, which is believed to have been used as a wall oven for baking communion wafers. The east window is dedicated to the fallen of WWI and depicts faith, hope and charity. Notice the hourglass stand by the pulpit!
