St Andrew is an interesting mix of old and new. A fire in 1963 destroyed the roof and much of the interior. The church was re-consecrated in 1964 with a new interior, toilet, kitchen, additional rooms and a magnificent East Window by Patrick Rentiens, who made the Baptistery window in Coventry Cathedral. More recently the pews were removed and the church is now used for worship and community events. On the 20th September 2014 the church celebrated 50 years since its re-consecration after the fire.
